Tailored to the adult learner's needs, these can be single or multiple

2 hour lessons.

If you are an adult with zero to minimal experience, please consult with our head instructor for a recommendation on the number of lessons beneficial relative to your level of experience/confidence.

If you are an adult that already drives, a single lesson may be tailored to your specific needs (i.e test prep, freeway driving, specific skill improvement, etc.).

This includes the DMV required 6 hours of behind the wheel training. Upon completion, the teen driver will earn a completion certificate which allows her/him to take the DMV Road Test.

All of the lessons at Student 1st Driving School are custom tailored to the individual's needs. We understand that each individual comes to a lesson with different skillsets and/or varied levels of confidence. Our instructors will NEVER put a student in a situation for which he or she is not ready.

This is our most comprehensive lesson plan in which the teen will experience new challenges driving further from their residence. This could include driving to a different city and back, experiencing different traffic patterns, heavier traffic conditions, and/or freeway driving.

*Lesson 5 would be reserved for a 2 hour freeway experience.

Cancellation/Reschedule/No-Show Policy

Our goal is to provide quality driving instruction to all our students in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our instructors, but our other students as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments.

Appointment Cancellation

When you book your lesson, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to other potential students. In order to be respectful of other students, please call us at (626)210-3355 as soon as you know you will not be able to make your lesson. If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 48 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another student access to that appointment time.

How to Cancel Your Appointment

If you need to cancel your lesson, please call us at (626)210-3355 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m (M-F). If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call as soon as possible.

Late Cancellations/No-Shows

A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 48 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a student misses an appointment without cancelling. Late cancellations will incur a late cancellation fee of $80. A no show will incur a fee reflecting the price of their single lesson. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions page for more details.
